Hack the MIX Hackathon
While the MIX spills over into the Facebook and LinkedIn spaces, I would love to see more social media features, better collaboration and communcaition tools, and the ability to form communities right here within the MIX. We're seeing some of that here with the way we're voting on the grassroots hackathons, but it's not possible to find people effectively, let alone form them into groups centered around self-selecting themes.
Hi David, this is great feedback. Some of us here at the MIX have been thinking along the same lines, and we are in the process of developing some new social features for the hackathons and for the larger MIX site that will make it easier to find and connect with others, both on the MIX and via other social media tools. As we are still in the process of designing some of these features, if you have specific ideas that you'd like to see implemented, please add them here, every bit of feedback helps as we design this next version of the MIX!
