Rewarding Adaptability and crowd funding
Ian - hello again, and thanks for a mini hack here.
I REALLY like this - but taking personal like aside for a second I think this has huge business merits. Here's why. I administered, validated and adjudicated over a Staff Suggestion Scheme in 3 different organisations in my time. To say it was a chore is an understatement. Ill conceived, trite, lazy and misaligned ideas were reviewed, commented upon and in some case rewarded (!). Then we wikified them - and the crowd validated and the good rose to the top with excellent building comments.
So your mini-hack moves it even further into robust thinking and bidding processes; ownership and ratification of ideas and I believe the use of time as a reward is a worthy one in this day of head-down; plough on.
Enjoyed reading this and thinking about the possibilities here.
Thanks a lot
Perry
