WIFM
While sharing ideas about how to hack management inspire all of us, as someone with limited time to invest, I have to prioritize my time by the "Hell Yes" filter. For me, contributing here would be a "Hell Yes" if it led to meaningful introductions to others that care about the same things I do. While that happens a bit, the conversations are still relatively transactional. So the question is, how can you host small group discussions, in person events or other things that would help people build relationships? I'm not 100% sure what that answer is but by thinking about the WIFM (What's in it for me?) for various constituent bases that participate here, it's likely this could turn from an idea exchange to a more robust community.
This is interesting as for me the convenience of MIX is the asynchronous collaboration
but nothing beats live interaction for building connections
perhaps live twitter debates, google hang outs or the like would give 30min opportunities to build together, and build real networks?
