Anthonie,

Fascinating, simple and concrete! What would guide and inspire those goals?

Thanks,

I agree with Bjarte... this is brilliantly simple, and would probably be effective because it puts every employee who answers the questions in a place where they feel both autonomy and accountability at the same time. The answer to "what would I do if this were my company?" may be very different than the answer to "what should I do given that this is your company?" and the "powers that be" should be prepared to embrace answers and priorities that may deviate from their core point of view. Some perspectives may not be as valuable as others, but ALL will be useful in developing a more holistic view of what optimum performance for the organization would look like. Nice work!

The indomitable spirit of especially knowledge workers (well captured and explained by e.g. Dan Pink) to create value and deliver results while operating with a high degree of autonomy, while sharpening "the saw" (improving self) and being tethered (not schackled) to a superordinate mission.
